Press release from the issuing company

InfoTrends' Barb Pellow to share best practices to make direct mail more personalized and drive business results

Xeikon NV, an innovator in digital color printing technology, announced today that it will host an industry reception at Graph Expo 2012, offering attendees an opportunity to network with their peers and gain insights from a leading industry influencer on the keys to success in direct marketing.

The invitation-only event will be held Oct. 9, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. CT, at the Hyatt Regency McCormick Place Conference Center in Chicago, IL.

Barb Pellow, Group Director of InfoTrends, will provide an insightful presentation titled, "Making Direct Marketing Work: The Keys to Success." Today, consumers are exposed to significant amounts of advertising on a daily basis. Hence, the messages need to be relevant and personalized. Pellow's presentation will focus on helping printers achieve success in personalized direct marketing communications.

Pellow will also share which new technologies are contributing to faster print speeds, and improved quality, thus making direct mail more affordable. She'll give examples of how graphic communications service providers are creating customized communications that generate business results.

"This reception will offer a fun and informal setting for printing communications professionals to meet their peers and colleagues in the industry, and to learn more about how they can personalize their direct marketing pieces to be more powerful and persuasive in today's cluttered marketing world," said Michael V. Ring, president of Xeikon America, Inc.

Graph Expo, which takes place from Oct. 7-10, is the most comprehensive trade show for prepress, printing, finishing, converting, mailing, wide format and digital technologies in the Americas. Xeikon will be demonstrating its new Xeikon 8800 digital color press at its booth, #2238.
