Press release from the issuing company

BH Mobile Mail Service Provides APEX Customers with Additional eDelivery Options

Bell and Howell, a leading provider of solutions and services for paper-based and digital messaging, today announced that APEX has selected the company as its business partner for providing secure document delivery via mobile apps. APEX, based in St. Paul, Minn., provides statement design, and e-statement and e-payment technology for the healthcare and financial industries.

APEX will use the BH Mobile Mail service to extend existing electronic delivery services to its customers. End users will be able to view statement-summary information and targeted promotions via a branded mobile mail app, with easy access to other services such as full statement viewing.

"A solid mobile strategy is the next important component we wanted to add to our myEasyView and mySecureBill platforms and will be key for our future success," said Pat Maurer, APEX President. "After evaluating many options, we believe that Bell and Howell is offering the most advanced mobile app platform, and we have committed to using their services. We have a good history of working with Bell and Howell on other pieces of our offering, and we enjoy their responsiveness and expertise in this industry."

"We are extremely pleased that APEX has selected the new BH Mobile Mail service as part of its strategy to provide customers with next-generation communication technologies," said Mike Maselli, Bell and Howell Vice President of Marketing and Product Management. "APEX has a very strong track record in e-services, and we believe that our expertise in mobile technologies and high-volume communications will align us well to their strengths."
