Printers Software Streamlines Shipping Workflow

Wednesday, October 03, 2012

Press release from the issuing company

Printers Software Inc. and Onpoint On Demand today announced the completion of full integration between Printers Software Inc's Presidio print management information system (MIS) and Onpoint On Demand's Connect Shipping service.

Presidio printing management software now provides fully-automated shipping workflow for UPS, FedEX, USPS, and DHL. Scheduled shipments flow seamlessly into the Connect Shipping interface for quick, error-free label and packing slip printing. When line items have shipped, the Presidio order is updated with shipping methods, tracking numbers and other important information that provides users with full visibility into the shipping process.

"We are very pleased with the addition of our automated shipping and closeout workflow," remarked Nick Grieco, Vice President at Printers Software. "As print jobs continue to get smaller in quantity but more frequent, we feel it is important to automate this part of the workflow so that Presidio users have control and visibility throughout the entirety of the production and delivery process."

"We are delighted that Printers Software chose Onpoint On Demand as its choice for multi-carrier shipping partner." Jack Perry, VP of Product Management at Onpoint went on to say, "Integration with partner systems is a high priority for our company. Printers Software is one of the first MIS providers in the industry to deliver this level of automation to its users."
