Tobe Direct Earns Spot on Inc. 500|5000 List

Tuesday, October 02, 2012

Press release from the issuing company

Aggressive expansion and 87% annual growth pays off.

Tobe Direct announced today that they have been awarded a spot on the prestigious Inc. Magazine's 500|5000 list of fastest growing privately held companies. The Inc. team evaluates a company's past three consecutive years of revenue growth in order to determine which companies make this prestigious list, and Tobe Direct has demonstrated the stamina to meet the stiff criteria.

"We've been aggressively expanding our business for the past three years, but 2011 was our breakout year - we grew 87 percent," remarks John Tobe, founder and CEO. "Making the Inc. 500|5000 List is a huge achievement, and we could not have done it without our exceptional employees and customers," Tobe asserts.

In the Inc. 500 team's congratulatory letter, it was noted, "To be honored this year is a particularly notable achievement. To rank among the 2012 Inc. 5000, your company had to thrive through three of the toughest years this economy has seen in living memory. Your success in such times is eloquent testimony to your team's creativity, resilience and tenacity."

Tobe Direct shares this remarkable pedigree with notable new entrants this year, such as Publix Supermarkets, CDW, Levi Strauss, and a little social media company called Facebook.

"Our astounding growth caused us to recently open up a new facility to support our need for additional capacity. This award demonstrates how hard our team has worked over the last three years," says Tobe.
