Onpoint On Demand a leading provider of multi-carrier shipping software to the graphic arts industry announced the release of two new features that enhance the company's integration with MarcomCentral, powered by PTI Marketing Technologies.
Onpoint's best-in-class multi-carrier shipping platform delivered software as a service (SaaS) now provides automated shipping workflow support for split shipment and kitted product orders that originate from MarcomCentral storefronts.
The new split shipment workflow enables commercial printers to quickly ship one order that contains multiple delivery addresses. The enhanced feature eliminates the need to rekey scheduled shipment data when shipping finished goods and it dynamically changes the status of the order in MarcomCentral; updating shipping methods, tracking numbers and triggering shipment notifications to end users.
The kit support workflow enables commercial printers to ship kitted products as they would any other product in the MarcomCentral catalog. The new feature eliminates rekeying and order closeout.
