Bell and Howell Ascender 16 Inserter at GRAPH EXPO

Press release from the issuing company

Bell and Howell will unveil its new Ascender 16 inserting system at GRAPH EXPO, booth 2610, Oct. 7 through Oct. 10 in Chicago. Featuring increased throughput of up to 16,000 insertions per hour, the Ascender 16 supports multiple applications, changes over from flats to letters in minutes, and ensures the highest mailpiece integrity. The Ascender 16 inserter provides the flexibility that mailers need to manage short, mid-length and long runs.

"We are excited to further enhance the Ascender inserting platform for our customers," stated Gordon Galloway, Director of Inserter Marketing. "The Ascender 16 defines the benchmark for flexibility, integrity and swift changeover in high-speed inserting, and delivers all of the benefits associated with increased production and improved efficiencies."

The changeover process has been optimized to maximize run time, increase repeatability, and elevate application changes to a new level of simplicity. As with other Bell and Howell inserting systems, the Ascender 16 features the Navigator system controller and Harmonix productivity management software. These solutions deliver optimized production, high integrity, increased operator productivity, detailed production reporting, the capability to control third-party peripherals, and connectivity to an ADF environment such as Bell and Howell's IQ Software Suite.
