Printout Enjoys Glunz & Jensen PlateWriter 2000

Press release from the issuing company

"It's the best investment I have ever made," says Martyn Kimmins from Printout in Cornwall, UK, referring to his Glunz & Jensen PlateWriter 2000 that was installed 12 months ago.

Throughout his 20-year career Mr Kimmins has purchased various presses and a digital machine but it is the Glunz & Jensen that stands out from the crowd for sheer value for money, he reveals.

"I have bought Rotaprint presses and a Heidelberg GTO 46," says Mr Kimmins. "I currently have a £10,000 Ryobi 520. The £16,000 digital machine is used for short-run colour work. But none of them has pleased me in the way that the Glunz & Jensen has done because it saves time and money.

"The Glunz & Jensen has cut our electricity bill by 20 per cent, which is important when bills continue to soar. And it has cut the time taken to make plates by over half. I didn't think it would be as quick as it actually is and it's a huge relief. "It has improved the quality of our plates, too."

What does Martyn do with all this time he has saved? He's a football coach for St Agnes AFC, which has just embarked on the 2012/13 season within the Kernow Youth League.

Printout is based in a converted farm building in Truro, UK.
