Roland DGA Announce New Appointments and Promotion

Roland DGA Corp. has announced two new appointments and a promotion that further strengthen the company's product management, marketing communications and purchasing/distribution teams.
 
Rachel Hammer, Rotary Product Manager
Roland DGA has appointed Rachel Hammer product manager for rotary devices, including Roland milling and engraving machines. Before assuming her position with Roland, Hammer served as a designer for Fusion of Ideas, an Irvine-based engraving company. Prior to that, she worked for the California Parks and Recreation Department, where her responsibilities included graphic design. Hammer earned a bachelor's degree in studio art from California State University, Fullerton.
 
Marc Malkin, PR Representative/Copywriter
Marc Malkin has joined Roland DGA as public relations representative/copywriter.  Malkin brings with him more than 15 years of agency and corporate PR and advertising experience. Prior to joining Roland, Malkin handled public relations for two major fishing tackle manufacturers – Daiwa and Silstar. He also has a background in the e-commerce and photo-specialty industries, having served as manager of public relations and communications for online retailer, Ritz Interactive.
 
Ron Kienast, Manager of Purchasing and Distribution
Ron Kienast, a 12-year Roland DGA veteran, has been promoted  to the position of manager of purchasing and distribution. Kienast was previously Roland's distribution manager, but in his new capacity, will also be responsible for the company's purchasing department operation, including process, budget and personnel. Kienast started out with Roland in 1999 as warehouse supervisor and also served as inventory control manager before assuming the role of distribution manager.
