Bell and Howell Introduces Hosted IQ

Press release from the issuing company

Cloud-Based Software Suite for Mailers of All Sizes

Bell and Howell, a leading provider of solutions and services for paper-based and digital messaging, today announced the availability of Hosted IQ, a new cloud-based version of its powerful, industry-leading IQ Software Suite. The new production-management service offers companies the benefits of an automated document factory (ADF) solution without incurring infrastructure and other personnel and software-use capital expenditures. Hosted IQ provides mailers of all sizes and budgets with a fully managed and secure ADF solution.

Bell and Howell will demonstrate Hosted IQ at GRAPH EXPO, booth 2610, Oct. 7 through Oct. 10 in Chicago.

"Hosted IQ demonstrates Bell and Howell's commitment to making our best-in-class ADF tools available to the widest range of customers," said Mike Maselli, Vice President of Marketing and Product Management. "By leveraging the power of the IQ Software Suite with the security and operational efficiencies afforded by our managed service, organizations can receive the benefits of our real-time management system without having to justify the long-term costs of building their own solution or managing their own system."

Hosted IQ is architected to accommodate customer requirements ranging from mailpiece tracking to production and operational tracking. Customers can license single or multiple solution modules to manage document integrity and compliance reporting, automate reprint processing, and track the productivity of operators and equipment.

The cloud-based service is hosted on secure servers within a world-class cloud-computing facility. Hosted IQ's Web-based user interface can be accessed by authorized users with no additional local software required on the end-user computer, and the system greatly reduces IT infrastructure and overhead costs, enabling customers to move non-core IT activities to an outsourced model.

"We are very excited to offer this new service for companies that have either not invested in an ADF or those that have developed their own and are ready to transition to a managed service and reallocate their highly valuable technical personnel," said Mark Toussaint, Product Manager, ADF Solutions.
