Business Increases at Glunz & Jensen After Intec Contribution

Press release from the issuing company

Intec Printing Solutions Ltd, the sole distributor for Glunz & Jensen PlateWriters in the UK and Ireland, has contributed to a 36 per cent rise in business at the Danish company.

In the last 12 months Glunz & Jensen (G&J) revenues have soared to £42.95m (DKK 398m), as printers recognise the cost and time savings realised by the chemistry free range of PlateWriters. This has produced the manufacturer's best performance in the last decade.

"Intec Printing Solutions is one of our premier partners in Europe and has significantly contributed to sales of G&J PlateWriter systems," says Mark Baker-Homes, Business Director for Inkjet CTP at Glunz & Jensen. "Intec's Peter Swann, the UK and Ireland Channel Manager for G&J, has done exceptionally well in growing market share of the G&J range during such incredibly challenging times."

Ian Melville, Managing Director of Intec Printing Solutions Limited, adds: "Despite the global slowdown I am pleased to see that we have outperformed market conditions in the UK and Ireland and am happy with our excellent longstanding relationship with Glunz & Jensen."

Founded in 1968 G&J is the world's leading manufacturer and distributor of high quality CtP (Computer to Plate) processors, punch/bend and plateline solutions for the newspaper and printing environments.
