Printing Industry Midwest Collects Paper for Minnesota Schools

Press release from the issuing company

St. Paul, MN – The Printing Industry Midwest (PIM) announces the 37th Annual Surplus Paper Drive to be held at Pioneer Paper Stock, Minneapolis, on September 15, 2012. This annual project provides teachers throughout Minnesota with paper and paper supplies for projects that would not otherwise be possible. Each year teachers take back truck-loads of paper to their classrooms. Approximately 75 pallets, including paper, paper trays, binders, binder clips, paper clips, staples and white boards are donated by members of PIM.

"The generosity of our members allows instructors from across Minnesota to have additional resources for their students," said David Radziej, President, PIM. "The donated paper and paper supplies has a direct impact on the curriculum possibilities when budgets are tight."

There are 734 printing companies in Minnesota employing over 34,000 people with over $45.5 in shipments (sales) each year.*
