Segbert Launches MPA in North America

Press release from the issuing company

Segbert, the European market leader for high-performance bundle palletizing robots in the printing industry, announced today the launch of the new MPA palletizer platform in North America.

The MPA had its world premiere at Drupa 2012 in Dusseldorf and complements the ZPA model which is the industry benchmark for a high-performance palletizer that can handle ZIP code sorted mail as well as loose bundles, strapped bundles, cartons and logs.

Key elements of the MPA are high performance and versatility in combination with the smallest possible footprint and the lowest Total Cost of Ownership. A wide range of available options ensures that the palletizer can be perfectly adapted to individual production requirements.

Klaus Segbert, Managing Director of Segbert GmbH in Ahaus, Germany said “We are excited that we can now offer the MPA in North America. This machine was designed as a platform that will appeal to a wide range of printing companies, that so far could not generate an attractive ROI for an investment in this kind of automation. Priority number one for all printers in today’s challenging business environment is to reduce the cost of manufacturing, in the press room as well as in the bindery, and Segbert is offering a range of products from stackers to palletizers to software solutions that will help achieve this goal”

Segbert palletizers and stackers are used in more than 250 installations in press rooms and binderies around the globe and can be customized to handle a wide range of printed products like newspapers, retail inserts, magazines, catalogues, loose signatures, logs of signatures, books and book blocks and labels.
