NPI Sorters at Graph Expo 2012

Press release from the issuing company

NPI Sorters, of Fort Worth, TX, is excited to announce the future of mail sorting. It will be on display at Booth #3616 at this year’s Graph Expo conference, and is sure to turn some heads.

It is called the Crossfire, and it is the fastest mail sorter in the world. The new single-induction machine offers the highest speeds, the smallest footprint and 30% reduced labor costs. It has the most ergonomically designed and compact stackers available today, with a transmission-free, direct-drive system that reduces power consumption and downtime.

“We are very excited about this year’s GraphExpo,” reads a statement from NPI. “NPI is happy to present the Crossfire, which utilizes mail induction from only one end of the sorter. “

The Crossfire has even more impressive features. It can be configured for incoming and outgoing mail, or your custom specifications. It possesses the industry’s top performing Multi-Line Optical Character Reader (MLOCR) with text and handwritten capabilities. Additionally, it has an omni-directional, software-based barcode reader, capable of recognizing Postnet, IMB (Four-State) as well as multiple two-dimensional and linear barcodes.

Aside from extensive diagnostics and statistical management reports, the Crossfire also boasts the most versatile and user-friendly PostalManager® analysis software.

According to the statement from NPI, the company is “also introducing the latest versions of our OpteSort Business Optimization suite.” This software enables mailers to save thousands of dollars by analyzing and optimizing Mail.dat files and sort schemes for First-Class mailers along with logistics for Standard mailers.”

OpteSort is comprised of different applications that can increase efficiency in a wide array of disciplines, including analyzing historical data to improve mail processing, minimizing labor costs and maximizing postal discounts, as well as analyzing applicable drop-ship locations and trucking costs, just to name a few.

NPI can be found online at npisorters.com. NPI also has an assortment of videos that highlight the features of its machines on the company YouTube channel.
