Enfocus, the leader in advanced preflight and automation technologies, today announces its Graph Expo 2012 exhibit plans. The company's demonstrations of Enfocus Switch and PitStop version 11 products will reveal why Enfocus is having success in bringing Smart Preflight and Smart Automation to the market. Used alone and in combination, Switch and PitStop are now designed to maximize productivity in multi-channel workflows by optimizing the products' built-in intelligence.  In addition to demonstrations of its full product line, personnel will show attendees how to access several new and popular educational resources. Visitors to Enfocus booth #246 during the show, being held October 7-10, 2012 at McCormick Place South in Chicago, can also receive a fun, wearable, giveaway. 

A Busy and Successful Year
Enfocus' appearance at Graph Expo follows standing-room only drupa demonstrations in May, weekly educational webinars through the summer, and numerous new installations since version 11 of these flagship products was introduced earlier this year.

Enfocus customers and the market at-large are also benefiting from several integrated online initiatives; beginning with a newly branded and revisited website containing more targeted and educational content. The site is home base for what is becoming a much wider spread of Enfocus-oriented technical, educational, and sales presence online via:

• a gallery of customer interviews in both video and written formats;

• easy to understand and apply Enfocus Switch use cases - taking customers and prospects through the most typical and basic prepress situations where automation is being used to save time and money, and

• a series of electronic and poster-ready Infographics on basic topics such as Preflight; available for free at the show.

Smart Preflight Meets Smart Automation
Enfocus PitStop Pro and Server 11 introduce Smart Preflight & Correction - a more accurate and flexible way of preflighting and correcting files in order to meet specific production requirements. 

Enfocus additionally showcases Smart Automation in its Enfocus Switch solution.  Due to its open architecture and neutral file format handling, Switch can seamlessly integrate with existing or new systems, software, workflows and people. Built-in intelligence allows Switch to reuse existing information inside of files, software, workflows and databases to maximize resources and to make existing files and workflows "Smart". 

On Display
Switch 11 update 1, which includes the latest version of the PitStop Server configurator, enables Smart Preflight in PitStop Server 11 using any of the variables available in Switch, including SQL databases, XML and JDF job tickets, embedded XMP values, private data variables created with the scripting API, and all of Switch's built-in variables.
