Children, teenagers, and young adults are all preparing to head back to school for the fall semester and the start of a new school year. The Print and Graphics Scholarship Foundation (PGSF) is doing its part to help. PGSF, formerly the National Trust and Scholarship Foundation (NTSF), have been supporting graphic arts students with scholarship assistance since 1956, and this year is no exception. For the 2012–2013 school year PGSF has provided 180 students with financial assistance to support their graphic arts education.

Here are a few of the details for the 2012–2013 School Year:

• The PGSF Board of Directors approved $375,000 to be awarded for scholarships in the 2012–2013 academic year.
• 180 scholarships were awarded to students attending 72 colleges and universities.
• 8 Gutenberg-level scholarships of $5,000 or more were awarded.
• The average scholarship awarded was $2,000.
• Top schools receiving scholarships are: Ball State University, Clemson University, Ferris State University, Georgia Southern University, PA College of Technology, Pittsburg State University, Rochester Institute of Technology, University of Central Missouri, University of Wisconsin-Stout, and Western Michigan University.
