Thursday, August 23, 2012

Press release from the issuing company

Mitsubishi Imaging (MPM), Inc., will announce a new product from its parent company Mitsubishi Paper Mills, a world leader in specialty paper manufacturing, at Graph Expo ’12. The new product, Sword iJET 4.3, is a premium grade, high quality gloss coated production inkjet media.

SWORD iJET production inkjet media’s glossy surface dries quickly and provides excellent color and ink absorption.  With SWORD iJET Mitsubishi has answered the market demand for a truly high quality, glossy stock able to run at the high speeds of today’s inkjet presses.

“We listened to our customers who told us they need a glossy stock to make their inkjet web presses more profitable. Mitsubishi R&D delivered on that need and we now have SWORD iJET, a premium coated inkjet media that supports the highest possible print quality from their inkjet presses,” says Cathy Cartolano, Vice President, Sales & Technical Services, Mitsubishi Imaging (MPM), Inc.

Mitsubishi will display other grades of coated specialty media for printing on high-speed, continuous-feed, color inkjet presses at Graph Expo ‘12. Mitsubishi production inkjet grades enable true color reproduction, fast drying time and superior line sharpness on a variety of applications such as variable data, financial, books, brochures, print-on-demand, direct mail and more.

With a history of over 100 years in the paper business and a strong commitment to quality and sustainability, printers trust Mitsubishi for the specialty media they run in their high speed, continuous feed, color inkjet presses.  Come visit us at Booth 841 at Graph Expo 2012 to learn more about SWORD iJET and Mitsubishi’s complete portfolio of premium coated inkjet media for today’s high speed color inkjet presses.
