3D Systems Partners With NAMII

3D Systems Corporation announced today its plan to partner with the administration's National Additive Manufacturing Innovation Institute ("NAMII"), a federal initiative to enhance the competitiveness of US industry, re-localize manufacturing through technology, create new jobs and increase exports.

"We are particularly excited to support job creation and entrepreneurship by working with the National Network for Manufacturing Innovation to make localized manufacturing a reality."

3D Systems founded the additive manufacturing industry over 25 years ago with the invention of Stereolithography, SLA. Today the company leads the global adoption of 3D printing through innovation and democratization. The Youngstown Business Incubator, selected as the first site for the National Additive Manufacturing Innovation Institute, is scheduled to receive $69 million in special federal funding. NAMII is part of the National Network for Manufacturing Innovation.
