Press release from the issuing company

TRESU Ancillary, a subsidiary of TRESU Group, the supplier of flexographic packaging printing lines and ancillaries for flexo and offset printers, has appointed André Gerstmann & Cia Imp. e Com. Ltda, (Mairiporã, São Paul), as agents for Brazil.

André Gerstmann, general manager of the agency, has 45 years' experience in the graphic arts business, representing a host of leading suppliers to the corrugated, flexo, offset and gravure printing sectors.  He says, "We are delighted to be representing TRESU Ancillary, an established name in Brazil. The new partnership enables us to offer a direct, accredited and fast source of TRESU products at competitive prices."

TRESU Ancillary is an accredited supplier of chamber doctor blade systems, ink and coating supply systems, dryers and plate cleaning systems to several global press makers including Heidelberg, Komori, KBA, manroland and Mitsubishi. The company's pressure-controlled, streamlined FlexiPrint and UniPrint chamber doctor blade systems enable flexo and offset printers to achieve high-quality, high-speed ink and coating laydowns.

"Brazilian package converters are experiencing an increased demand for higher quality and more sophisticated packaging," Mr. Gerstmann continues. "Higher performance multi-process equipment lines with high-value finishing options integrated into the system are essential. There is a growing need to upgrade printing lines with end-of-line varnishing capabilities, for instance. TRESU Ancillary's technology can play an essential role in boosting the competitiveness of packaging printers seeking to answer the need for greater innovation in higher value markets."

TRESU Ancillary's sales director, Henrik Kristensen, comments: "The cooperation with André Gerstmann enables us to strengthen our support to Brazil´s graphics market with ways of meeting the retail and consumer goods sectors' needs for higher quality and performance on innovative packaging solutions."
