Press release from the issuing company

Exceeding all the expectations – that’s how experts characterize the XX Shanghai International Advertising & Sign Technology & Equipment Exhibition, which was held in China in July. They even had to build one more temporary hall to provide all companies with places to exhibit.

Among the novelties showed off by SUN Innovations the most popular was new special technology of printing on polyethylene – more cheap and eco-friendly material then commonly used PVC (banner).

“The order for technology of printing on PE we got from a large advertizing company, – says Director of Business Development of SUN Innovations Alexander Radchenko. – First tried to use inks we had in serial production – and it worked!  Nevertheless we wanted to get maximum durability of printing. As a result unique flexible inks for inkjet printing on polyethylene were developed”.

SUN showed off this technology for the numerous visitors and exhibitors of the exhibition: printed on new Turbospeed machine, created primarily for the outdoor advertising market. This demonstration really impressed professionals and boosters who clearly understand all the benefits of speed, economical and qualitative large-format printing.  They took all printed on the spot samples.

“China is a giant market and incredible opportunities for business development, - summarized CEO of SUN Innovations Yuriy Kurochkin. – It’s no wonder that in Shanghai were presented even more innovations then at drupa 2012, which is traditionally considered the brightest even in the printing sphere. Of course, competition is very high on this market. But we are sure that unique products of SUN Innovations have all the chances of being in demand in China and other countries of Pacific Rim”.

During the exhibition SUN’s representatives have conducted successful negotiations with a number of the biggest manufacturers of printing equipment and concluded agreements with potential clients and businesses from the MENA region. At the show SUN’s distributors in China announced integration in a single distribution network – and this was a key event for SUN in Shanghai. This will help the company to take strong market position in China in the nearest future.
