Heidelberg: Niels Winther To Deliver Printing Industry Address At Vue/Point

KENNESAW, Ga. – February 25, 2004 – Heidelberg USA President Niels M. Winther is scheduled to deliver an address on the printing industry during the VUE/POINT conference in Washington, D.C. on Monday, March 29. The presentation will be approximately 20 minutes in length. Winther is scheduled to speak during a Heidelberg-sponsored breakfast beginning at 7:45 a.m. at the Marriott Wardman Park Hotel. The presentation will focus primarily on the industry’s economic landscape and the significant events and developments that will drive demand for printing in 2004 and beyond. Winther also will discuss the importance of workflow management, setting industry technical standards, pending legislation, drupa 2004 and Heidelberg’s commitment to the printing industry. The address, the first of its kind for the printing industry, will be delivered before a group of about 200 of the nation’s largest and most influential printers. VUE/POINT is a three-day conference for graphic communications professionals. Open forum panel discussions exclusively feature actual print professionals involved with software applications, prepress technology, traditional and digital printing, finishing and converting, sales and business management.
