IDEAlliance Offers 3-Part Webinar on Process Control

Press release from the issuing company

IDEAlliance has developed a training curriculum to help print service providers turn printing into a predictable, manufacturing process. The  G7 Process Control Program builds on the momentum of the existing G7 program, which to-date has qualified more than 1000 companies worldwide. In an in-depth 3-part IdeasOnline Webinar series, G7 Process Control Webinar: A Roadmap to Efficiency & Predictability, print providers will discover the process and benefits of standardizing their print production workflows.
Part 1 on July 26, 2012 will serve as an introduction to G7 Process Control and identify key attributes of an efficient media production workflow. In this session, attendees will discover how to use G7 Process Control to maintain and adjust print workflows to ensure maximum print quality repeatability, and profits.
In Part 2 on August 2, attendees will discover how G7 Process Control allows print and premedia providers to achieve new efficiency levels that save money on the bottom line, while simultaneously achieving superior color consistency across their client’s multi-faceted campaigns. You’ll hear what worked and what challenges they overcame as they worked to optimize the print manufacturing process.
In Part 3 on August 9, experienced business and technology leaders from wide format and specialty imaging companies explain how they used the G7 Process Control program elements to achieve consistent quality levels when printing to a "modified aim" designed for their unique substrates and inks.
All sessions are from 2:00 – 3:00 PM Eastern Time and will be led by Joe Fazzi, Vice President Media Production Technologies, IDEAlliance, and Ron Ellis, Ron Ellis Consulting, LLC. Details and registration are at www.idealliance.org/events/g7-process-control-webinar or by calling 703-837-1070.
