Press release from the issuing company

Taylor Corporation announced today that it has reached agreement to acquire Venture Encoding of Fort Worth, TX. Venture will be merged with Corporate Graphics Direct Marketing Solutions, a Taylor affiliate based in Arden Hills, MN, with the new company carrying the name Venture Solutions Inc.

Taylor Corporation is one of the top 10 graphic communications providers, as well as having the largest and most diverse digital print platform, in North America. Taylor has over 80 affiliated companies across North America, China and Europe.

"As Taylor continues to evolve to meet the changing needs of its customers, Venture aligns very well with our corporate growth strategy centered on customer communications in compliance-driven markets such as financial services," said Glen Taylor, Taylor Corporation CEO. "We will build upon Venture's legacy of market leadership and deep market knowledge to grow further."

Venture Encoding, founded in 1972, is a market leader in providing loan servicing, borrower communications and marketing solutions to large financial organizations. Headquartered in Fort Worth, TX, Venture leads the market with its VentureAccess(SM) online 24/7 customer care portal, as well as its VentureCritical time sensitive, business critical services.

"As we searched for a suitable buyer, Taylor stood out as sharing the same values and culture that we are proud of at Venture," said Venture Encoding CEO Kenny Hargis. "I believe these shared qualities position the combined companies very well for continued future success."

Adding to the Venture products and services, Corporate Graphics Direct Marketing Solutions provides integrated multichannel solutions for direct marketing and customer communication management programs. Corporate Graphics serves Fortune 1000 companies in compliance-driven markets, including financial services, insurance, healthcare and telecommunications, in need of custom data processing, fully variable digital printing, interactive development, postal optimization and turn-key fulfillment services. The combined capabilities of Venture and Corporate Graphics Direct Marketing Solutions will significantly expand the new Venture's capacity to meet the future needs of its current clients, as well as new business opportunities.
