OKI Expands proColor Distribution Network in the Western U.S.

Press release from the issuing company

OKI Data Americas announces the addition of a highly-regarded West Coast printing distributor – K. Wilson & Company – to the proColor division’s expanding network throughout the U.S. and Canada. K. Wilson & Company now offers select models from the OKI proColor Series of high quality, commercial-grade, digital color printers – including the OKI pro900/905DP Digital Envelope Presses – as part of its broad range of pre-press, printing, finishing and bindery products.

K. Wilson & Company selected the OKI proColor printers to supplement its existing product line based on the devices’ impressive color printing capabilities, durability, ease of use, reasonable cost of ownership, and strong return on investment. With the addition of the OKI pro900/905DP digital printers, K. Wilson & Company is stepping outside the realm of traditional offset printing, helping expand the company’s customer base to include those who routinely engage in direct mail campaigns. The OKI proColor products represent K. Wilson & Company’s first foray into the digital printing – an industry evolution the company was excited to embrace.

According to the K. Wilson & Company’s Founder and President, Ken Wilson, “The addition of the OKI proColor digital color printers to our line represents our company’s desire to supplement our more traditional printing product portfolio. We are embracing new opportunities and targeting new markets, and the OKI pro900/905DP digital envelope printers help us reach these audiences with a compelling value proposition.”

Based in South San Francisco, CA, K. Wilson & Company provides sales, service and parts for new and used printing, bindery, finishing and mailing equipment within the graphic arts industry. Established in 1972, K. Wilson & Company serves Northern California, Northern Nevada and Hawaii, and has a reputation for being expert consultants.

“OKI is pleased to have K. Wilson & Company join the expanding proColor distribution network in service to the Western U.S. market. The proColor brand’s growth within the Flexographic, and graphic arts and production markets is impressive, and is a direct result of both the line’s superiority and the strength of our distribution network partners, like K. Wilson & Company,” said Rich Egert, General Manager of the Strategic Technology Provider Business Group for OKI Data Americas.
