Intec Funds New Water Tank Through Its Consumables Sales

Press release from the issuing company

Over the last month sales of Intec consumables have enabled Intec Printing Solutions to provide a new water tank for the maternity department at Mulanje Mission Hospital in Malawi.

The company has also been able to fund the replacement of plumbing in the maternity unit, thus ensuring that the labour ward and the postnatal ward have a constant supply of clean water.

“Up until now the midwives have had to walk a good distance to a standpipe near the hospital to collect water for the maternity department,” says Dr Ruth Shakespeare, who works at the hospital.

“Now the nurses will be able to concentrate on their nursing by caring for the mothers and babies rather than having to worry about the hard work of getting clean water.”
