CMYK Distributors Announces Launch of Filter Klear ReKlaim II

Press release from the issuing company

CMYK Distributors, Inc. is delighted to announce the launch of the U.S.printing industry’s first harnessed, multi-tank, fountain recycling system, the Filter Klear ReKlaim II by Keystone Corporation, a Met-Pro company.  Featuring advanced nanofiber technology with ceramic nanofibers on a micro-glass matrix, Filter Klear ReKlaim II, as well as the single tank Filter Klear ReKlaim I, provide outstanding reduction of calcium, virus, bacteria, cysts, endotoxin and many other submicron particles through both electro-adhesion and mechanical processes. The result is zero discharge and zero waste of incoming water while filtering particulates down to .002 microns.

“The impact that the all new Filter Klear ReKlaim II is positioned to make on the printing and graphics industry in terms of waste reduction, enhanced productivity, and prolonging the life of existing equipment is significant,” said Mark Williams, Director of Sales of CMYK Distributors.  “We are pleased to add this unique and innovative solution to our arsenal of cutting edge technology.”

According to Robert Werner, Worldwide Product Manager, Keystone Corporation, “The new Filter Klear ReKlaim II system allows the pressroom to filter and control all small tanks as if they were one.  By using an affordable harnesses system, you don’t have to expend thousands of dollars for a single tank and restructuring of your equipment.  There are no other systems manufactured in the U.S. like the ReKlaim II that address the older multi-tank systems in an affordable manner.”

Both Filter Klear ReKlaim I & ReKlaim II prevent dust and gunk in tanks and water pans which enhances print quality, provides better hickey control, less plate wear, and less plate scumming and tinting.  The systems are lightweight and portable and easy to install.  They connect directly to the press via an air supply hose. The units are manufactured, controlled, and warrantied by Met-Pro and all working parts are made in the U.S.A.

Benefits include:

- Zero Discharge; Zero Waste of Incoming Water

- Outstanding Reduction of Calcium and Other Submicron Particles

- Biofilter Technology (cuts odor and bacteria)

- Reduces Press Downtime and Maintenance

- Decreases Fountain Solution Consumption and Disposal Costs

- Cost effective
