Oce Partners with Control Systems to Help AEC Firms Turn Expenses into Income

Press release from the issuing company

CHICAGO, Feb. 24 -- Oce, a global leader in digital document management and delivery solutions, today announced a technology partnership with Control Systems, Inc., a leading provider of comprehensive expense management products. Under the agreement, Control Systems becomes a member of the Oce Partner Program and will optimize their Copitrak cost recovery software to integrate with Oce TDS large format multifunction print systems, including the recently launched Oce Account Center cost management software. Designed for use with one or more Oce TDS systems, Oce Account Center enables companies to control access to their system by locking the scanner until appropriate billing information is entered, to track expenditures to specific users, departments and projects and to integrate the data with third party software, like Copitrak, so that costs can be converted into income. The partnership with Control Systems will provide an end-to-end cost recovery solution for architecture, engineering and construction (AEC) firms, as well as the facilities management providers who serve the industry. By combining the award-winning Oce TDS large format multifunction print systems with Control Systems' cost recovery software, firms will be able to more completely track and recover expenses for their large format printing, scanning and copying services. "As a facilities management provider to the architectural and engineering industries, we have worked with Oce and Control Systems for many years," says Mark DiPasquale, CEO of Service Point USA, a Woburn, MA-based reprographics management and services company for business and design professionals. "Their partnership will provide a great benefit to us and, ultimately, our AEC clients by offering a highly integrated solution to track and manage our reimbursable expenses." "Control Systems is pleased to partner with Oce, an industry leader in document management solutions," notes Graham Allen, President of Control Systems. "Customers of both companies will benefit from this alliance, which will promote the development of comprehensive solutions aimed at eliminating some of the industry's most pressing dilemmas -- specifically how to control, manage and charge back for expenses such as scanning, digital printing, copying and plotting." The Oce Partner Program "Oce customers want to recover their cost of printing and copying from clients whenever possible," Francis Fay, Director of Product Marketing for the Wide Format Printing Systems division of Oce North America, notes. "By ensuring that Oce systems readily integrate with popular cost recovery accounting software, like Copitrak, customers have a complete solution to do so. We are pleased to add Control Systems to the Oce Partner Program."
