Leading paper agency Papico has appointed John Bray as head of sales to further develop its position in the paper industry and help grow the business.

John has considerable experience in the industry having worked at Robert Horne’s regional sales office in Leeds until its closure last year.

Papico director David Bramhill commented on John’s appointment: “We saw an opportunity to employ someone with a good knowledge of the paper industry from the perspective of the merchant. It made sense to take on such a well-known, popular and experienced salesman.”

John is responsible for extending sales of the products which Papico supplies to UK customers from the European mills it represents. These mills include Lenzing {Papier (recycled offset and copier); Goricane (woodfree coated); Oria (woodfree offset) and Clariana (tints).

John is looking forward to his future at Papico and his role in helping to further enhance the business. “I am thrilled to have joined Papico and I look forward to using my extensive knowledge of the industry to increase sales in the UK for the company,” he said.
