CGS and Color-Logic Streamline Design and Prototyping of Folding Cartons

Press release from the issuing company

CGS Publishing Technologies International—a world leader in digital proofing, color management, and production workflows for the professional graphics arts market—has partnered with Color-Logic to streamline the design and prototyping of folding cartons.  Announcing the partnership, Color-Logic Director of Sales and Marketing Mark Geeves commented: “Color-Logic and CGS have cooperated fully to ensure that brand and product managers—as well as their graphic designers and print providers—can confidently use the new CGS RealVue 3D Packager to confidently determine how their carton design will appear before going to press.  This reduces trial and error in package creation, as well as the time required to bring products to market.  At drupa 2012, the international printing exhibition in Dusseldorf, Germany, CGS demonstrated their new visualization tools which dynamically simulate the Color-Logic decorative effects on cartons.”

In addition to 3D visualization and workflow solutions for packaging, CGS products include the ORIS Color Tuner (proofing), which works with many devices including the Roland wide-format printer for hard copy prototypes.  Also in the CGS product line are ORIS Certified Web and PressMatcher products, which are widely used among gravure and other large printing operations, as well as by catalog and magazine publishers.  For more information, see www.cgs-oris.com.

Color-Logic develops color communication systems and software tool sets for a variety of special effect printing applications.  Color-Logic provides brand owners, product managers, corporations, and their advertising agencies the ability to differentiate themselves and their clients with a simple print production process that yields dramatic results.  Color-Logic decorative effects utilize the existing workflows of printers and designers, yielding dynamic results without the use of special equipment.  Color-Logic supports the value of print and works with designers and printers to enhance their printed media.  For more information, visit www.color-logic.com or call 513-258-0047.
