ANRO Installs HP T300

Press release from the issuing company

West-Chester based ANRO Inc. announces the installation of a state-of-the-art HP T300 Color Inkjet Web Press. This investment strengthens ANRO’s position as the region’s premier marketing services provider and solidifies the company’s position as an industry-leader in the integration of print and digital media.

The T300 delivers a breakthrough combination of productivity, print quality, cost and flexibility that is unprecedented in the industry.  The company has also upgraded their finishing operations to accommodate additional capacity and unique production requirements of the T300, as well as enhanced their existing mailing operations and database programming expertise. ANRO can now deliver 100% variability on high-volume mailings, transactional print and publishing applications, all at reduced turnaround times and effective price points.

ANRO’s newest press presents an especially appealing opportunity for ANRO’s direct mail clients. “In the past, a client with a large mailing was faced with a decision – either sort their mailing list geographically to optimize postage savings, or version the mailers for product-based targeting. Now with the T300, they can do both,” says Jim Spinelli, ANRO’s Chief Operating Officer. ANRO clients achieve the lowest possible postage on large mailings while increasing response rates and improving their ROI with the use of fully personalized direct mail pieces. Spinelli continues, “It’s the best of both worlds – higher relevance and lower postage costs.”

Utilizing their HP digital presses (they also have three HP Indigo 7000 color digital presses) and in-house staff of database programmers, ANRO expertly produces high-quality full-color marketing pieces with 100% variability, including text and graphics. That means that each recipient gets a uniquely printed piece tailored just for them, no matter how large or small the print run. Studies by the Direct Marketing Association have shown that this type of personalized marketing can lift response rates up to four-fold.

In addition to direct marketing initiatives, the HP T300 is also ideal for book publishing applications, niche publications, financial documents, insurance booklets, transpromotional marketing and pharmaceutical product inserts.

A key benefit of the T300 press is its speed. With a daily capacity of up to 1.5 million letter-size pieces, high-volume print runs can be completed within days instead of weeks. Furthermore, because digital printing requires no plates and virtually no make-readies, clients only need to order the quantities needed immediately. By eliminating the need to print and store extra materials, they reduce storage costs and obsolescence.

Additional features of the T300 include: 30” maximum width web roll, 100% full-color variability, 1200 x 600 resolution, thermal digital inkjet technology, and a range of substrates from 27lb offset up to coated cover stocks.

The T300 represents the latest step in ANRO’s long-term strategy towards complete digital integration. “We see so many of our competitors struggling because they can’t compete with the digital marketing channels out there today,” says ANRO’s Chief Financial Officer, David Spinelli. “Print isn’t obsolete, but it needs to be used as one component of a multichannel message. We recognized a long time ago that our growth would be fueled by technology, and every investment we’ve made over the past decade has been made with this in mind.”
