Balkan Print Forum at drupa 2012

Press release from the issuing company

The new company, manroland web systems, continues to support the printing industry in the Balkan region and organized a meeting on its drupa stand in Hall 6 on 8 May 2012 for an exchange of information. Around 70 representatives of printing companies in the Balkan States saw the presentations of new developments from manroland web systems, and were most impressed by the One Touch operating system and the range of commercial web presses from 16 to 96 pages.

Many member states of the Balkan Print Forum were represented, such as Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Greece, Croatia, Romania, Serbia and Hungary, as well as partners of the Balkan Print Forum from Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Germany, Austria and Belgium. The Balkan Print Forum is becoming ever more significant. Peter Kuisle, Member of the Executive Board at manroland web systems, says: “We continue to support the printing industry in the Balkan region in order to improve quality, profitability and competitiveness there, and encourage industry newcomers.”

The objective of the Balkan Print Forum is to contribute to a balanced development in the region through implementing and harmonizing European printing regulations and standards in the Balkan Print Forum partner countries.

The seventh Balkan Print Forum will be held this year in Sofia, Bulgaria, on 18 and 19 October, where the managers and members of the national printing associations will meet and discuss trends and prospects in the printing and media industry.
