PTI Releases New Internationalization

Press release from the issuing company

PTI Marketing Technologies, formerly known as Printable Technologies, a leading provider of software as a service (SaaS) web-to-print and marketing personalization solutions, announced today the release of new language localization capabilities for its MarcomCentral and FusionPro products.

The expanded Unicode functionality for MarcomCentral allows end users to place orders for marketing materials in a portal that displays their native language. New language support includes Japanese, Russian, Korean, Greek, Portuguese, Chinese, and Hindi. The language displayed can be based off a user’s profile or directly tied to an internal HRIS system to provide a seamless user experience.

PTI’s FusionPro VDP products, which have supported Unicode languages since 2008, have also expanded their international capabilities by supporting right-to-left Unicode languages such as Hebrew and Arabic. FusionPro VDP users, which have surpassed 17,000 in recent months, can now create templates to reflect nearly any language in the world and use them offline with a digital workflow or upload them directly into MarcomCentral.

”We are now truly international,” says Coleman Kane, CEO of PTI. “We are extremely committed to having a greater worldwide presence and we will continue to invest our development efforts to do so.” Kane continues, “The make-up and needs of our customers have grown internationally and our worldwide partners’ needs have increased so the decision to expand was easy.”

Kane states that further international development is underway with the administrative portion of MarcomCentral and is scheduled to be complete in early 2013. The project incorporates a complete overhaul of the user interface and expands capabilities beyond internationalization.
