BMA Honors Sandra Zoratti with Marketer of the Year Award

Press release from the issuing company

Ricoh Production Print Solutions LLC (Ricoh), a leading provider of digital output solutions, today announced that Sandra Zoratti, Vice President of Marketing, Executive Briefings and Education, has been named the recipient of the 2012 Business Marketer of the Year Award. The honor recognizes a sustained dedication to promoting the high standards and professionalism of business-to-business marketing.  The award, presented by the Business Marketing Association of Colorado, is a result of Zoratti’s successful contributions to Ricoh, its customers and the marketing industry, along with her willingness to share her findings to benefit the greater profession.  The BMA of Colorado is recognized as the leading chapter of the BMA, the sole professional development organization dedicated specifically to serving the educational, development and networking needs of business-to-business marketing professionals.

Zoratti, who has nearly twenty years of experience in the Fortune-500 marketing and business development arena, can be credited for many of her company’s marketing initiatives, as well as those implemented for its customers. Zoratti’s unique marketing insight has not only benefited Ricoh, where she has been instrumental in increasing the effectiveness of marketing campaigns as evidenced by increased ROI, but her work has also benefited many of Ricoh’s customers, who she has guided to realize the measurable benefits of innovative marketing approaches.  Her campaigns have generated double-digit ROI, increased customer brand loyalty and won industry acclaim on numerous occasions – most recently in the form of the BMA Gold Key Award.

Most importantly, Zoratti is an asset to the larger body of marketing professionals, continually giving back by sharing her expertise, knowledge and talents.  Currently, she is responsible for Ricoh’s co-branded CMO Council initiatives to help global senior marketers in vertical markets – such as the insurance, banking and utility industries – to optimize customer engagement through the adoption of Precision Marketing practices.  In yet another effort to enrich the collective awareness of the marketing community, Zoratti will be releasing Precision Marketing: Maximizing Revenue Through Relevance in the US in June, the follow-up to her contributions to the 2011 book on the same topic, Advice from The Top.

“Zoratti is a prime example of what we at BMA Colorado believe all marketers should aspire to be,” said Marilee Yorchak, executive director of the Business Marketing Association, Colorado. “In addition to leading successful campaigns over the course of her career, she has also made an impact on the profession of B-to-B marketing by pushing the industry forward as a thought leader for ground-breaking best practices.  Her contributions illustrate a commitment to elevating the discipline of marketing, and our marketing community and BMA Members have truly benefited from it.”

“I am extremely honored to receive this notable BMA award from a community of which I am very proud to be a member,” said Sandra Zoratti, vice president of Marketing, Executive Briefings and Education for Ricoh. “Marketing is a passion of mine and I am privileged to give back to the profession – not only because I value the vocation, but also because I have benefited from the support of many mentors and peers. Being recognized by the Business Marketing Association of Colorado is such a significant reward for me; as is the path that led to this achievement.”

The Business Marketer of the Year Award was established by the Colorado Chapter of the Business Marketing Association in 1985. Recipients are recognized by others as leaders and ambassadors in the field of business-to-business marketing and communications who have raised the standards of the profession. Past recipients include Sam Eidson of 90octane, Christine Cook of Ingather Research and Viki Mann of Covidien.
