Ironsides Technology Launches OpenData

Press release from the issuing company

Ironsides’ OpenData concept allows all production information, piece tracking data and subsequent reporting to be accessed by all authorized users within an Automated Document Factory.  Part of Ironsides’ Automated Production Tracking (APT) 2.0 release, OpenData allows real-time data to be captured from any brand camera, scanner, hand scanner, log file, service log and machine log.  It also allows piece and job level data to be imported from proprietary ADF technologies.  By allowing real-time access to work-in-process, productivity and performance measurement information, OpenData provides a new level of production information availability for print and mail operations.

According to Ironsides Technology President, Bill Riley, “APT provides our clients with 100% access to all data captured within the ADF.  That includes the over 100 standard real-time reports and all supporting raw data.  Whether at the plant site or a remote location, APT authorized users can access the information they need to optimize production performance from their desktop.  For users of proprietary ADF technologies and for organizations wishing to track print and mail production without artificial barriers to their production data, Ironsides’ OpenData provides the information when and where our clients need it to impact their business.”

OpenData is a standard function within Automated Production Tracking (APT) version 2.0 release which also includes updated production monitoring, SLA performance measurement and enhanced piece level tracking capabilities.  APT 2.0 is currently available from Ironsides Technology and its authorized partners.
