Press release from the issuing company

Colordyne Technologies (CDT), a manufacturer of high-speed color printing solutions, is proud to announce its partnership with Delphax Technologies, Inc., a global provider of high-speed digital printing equipment, as master distributor of the Colordyne CDT-1600 PC Production Class printing system at drupa 2012.

Delphax is a master distributor for Colordyne’s CDT-1600 PC Sprint Production Class Printing System and CDT-1600 PC Pro Inline Finishing System in Africa, Australia, Asia, Europe, and South America. Delphax is providing sales, service, support, and consumables in those areas.

“Our partnership with Delphax brings together two companies that are excited about Memjet’s disruptive technology in the digital print industry,” said Gary Falconbridge, Colordyne Technologies president. “Delphax Technologies has the industry experience, international reach and understanding of Memjet technology which makes it an ideal partner for us.”

The Colordyne 1600 PC Sprint is a high-speed color printing system that runs both pre-die cut labels or non-die cut master rolls for post-printing finishing with the 1600 PC Pro inline finishing system. Setting a benchmark for lightning fast printing, the 1600 PC prints high quality labels or tags at 160 feet/minute and 1600 x 1200 dpi resolution. The Production Class printing system features five of Memjet’s revolutionary printheads; with each one containing 70,400 nozzles that are integrated into five interchangeable ink delivery blades.  The 1600 PC Sprint can be seen at drupa in Memjet’s booth- Hall 5 Stand E28.

“We have long prided ourselves on offering innovative and disruptive production print solutions across multiple print verticals including the ticket, tag and label market where our Presidax solution pioneered variable print applications to high volume press runs,” said Kevin Howes, Delphax vice president of sales, marketing and customer experience.  “Our partnership with Colordyne provides a logical extension to our legacy products and adds the excitement of full 1600 dpi color printing.  The Colordyne 1600 PC Sprint and Colordyne 1600 PC Pro inline finishing system will complement our elan digital printing system, which is being showcased at drupa 2012 in Hall 8b, Stand C10.”
