Xerox Kicks Off drupa 2012 with New Technology / Visual Tool

Press release from the issuing company

As drupa 2012 officially kicks off, Xerox is making several announcements and launching an exciting new visual tool to help track the major trends being discussed around drupa.

Xerox’s new tool is called a visualizer and it will track real-time conversations taking place on Twitter to reveal what major industry trends and buzz words are hot at drupa this year. The visualizer is updating in real time here and on a screen in the Xerox booth.

Also debuting at drupa:

  • The newest addition to the award-winning iGen platform – the Xerox iGen 150 Press. To learn more about the latest addition to Xerox’s digital production color portfolio, check out this video featured on the Xerox newsroom.
  • Complementing the Xerox CiPress 500 Production Inkjet System, the new CiPress 325 Production Inkjet System promises to deliver the same high-speed waterless inkjet technology to print providers with lower average monthly page volumes.
  • The new IntegratedPLUS Finishing Solution for Booklets is an automated finishing solution that offers the industry’s first off-line automation by combining the efficiency of in-line with the flexibility of off-line into one device.
  • Xerox’s new Freedom to Print is an automated program that eliminates the hassle of a multi-vendor environment by establishing a common workflow to reliably send jobs to various devices in a print shop.

Xerox's stand is in Hall 8B, Stands #A62-1, #A62-5 during the show.
