Press release from the issuing company

Schawk, Inc., a leading provider of brand development and deployment services, enabling companies of all sizes to connect their brands with consumers, announced that it has appointed Kim Cooper to the newly created post of senior vice president of its retail practice.

Cooper will be responsible for integrating and leading the business development function for all of Schawk, Inc.'s retail-focused services into a single business practice to create a clear go-to-market offering of the Company's full range of retail capabilities.

Eric Ashworth, chief strategy officer for Schawk, Inc., noted, "I am confident that Kim's leadership and new business development skills will coalesce to create a sharply tuned go-to-market approach that will crystallize the business value of Schawk's extensive retail offering, and give us a very compelling story to bring to market."

Michael Komasinski, president of Schawk Retail Marketing, commented, "Folding the business development activities of Schawk Retail Marketing into the Schawk Retail Practice, will enable Schawk, Inc. to more effectively present the depth and breadth of its retail expertise to the marketplace."

"I view this as a very empowering opportunity for all involved," said Kim Cooper, senior vice president, Schawk Retail Practice. "By simplifying how Schawk's Retail Practice presents itself to the market, we will make it easier for our clients and prospects to recognize the value of our service offering. At the same time, it will strengthen the value of our capabilities and optimize the knowledge and skills of our retail-focused talent."

In his previous role as vice president of business development, Cooper helped Schawk, Inc. integrate the business development function for its brand development and brand deployment offering to retailers. He has served the Company in new business development positions since 2004. Prior to joining Schawk, Cooper held senior level new business development positions with various graphic services companies.
