Highcon / HP Indigo Provide End to End Digital Solution

Press release from the issuing company

Highcon announced today that the company has joined the HP SmartStream Solution Partner Program.

This agreement reflects the importance that both companies place on the move towards digital packaging production – both the printing and the converting.

Current trends in folding carton packaging point clearly to shorter runs, versioning, private label, reduced inventory and sustainability. All of these trends are supported by HP Indigo Digital Presses and HP Indigo is committed to bring an E2E solution for cartons converting. The new Highcon Euclid, with its innovative technology of cutting and creasing, will be an important part of this vision transforming the way cartons are converted.

Quote from HP Indigo:  Simon Lewis, Director, Strategic Marketing "Based on our close relations with packaging converters we understand that we need to search for innovating Converting technologies, Highcon digital cutting and creasing solution can be of huge value to our customers and will enable prospects to make a smoother transition to digital."

Quote from Highcon: Aviv Ratzman, CEO and Co-founder: "The enthusiasm with which HP Indigo has encouraged our development of the Highcon Euclid has been indicative of the genuine market need for such a solution. We look forward to cooperating with Indigo to offer a complete digital solution for the folding carton market."

At drupa the Highcon booth is situated across the aisle from HP and visitors will be able to see sample jobs printed by HP and cut and creased by Highcon on both booths.
