Two years after its noticeable launch at Ipex 2010, IMPIKA unveils iEngine 1000L, a new version of the print engine which doubles the print width. The iEngine 1000L prints on a width of 220 mm (8.66 inches) at speeds up to 150 m/min in color and 800 m/min in monochrome. The iEngine 1000L is autonomous and can be integrated into existing print or press equipment as well as in new equipments looking for a highly effective and reliable inkjet solution. The iEngine 1000L addresses the needs of a wide and diverse array of applications with high speed variable data such as envelope printing, overprinting, hybrid print and security documents printing with special inks.

Genesis: an intermediate concept between color production copiers and continuous feed industrial printer
IMPIKA will disclose the Genesis proof of concept at Drupa and collect valuable feedback from potential users on his stand. This new web to sheet printing concept produces A4 and US letter formats, in duplex color up to 160 ppm, with a very high quality (equivalent to more than 1000 dpi). IMPIKA’s Genesis solution constitutes a different market approach which foretells the arrival of a new range of printing solutions answering the new trend in trade for the mutualization of transactional and direct mail markets among others.
