ROCHESTER, N.Y.--Feb. 16, 2004-- Eastman Kodak Company today announced that Jorge Perez-Cordova has been appointed Regional Operations Manager and Vice President of its Latin American Region (LAR). As Regional Operations Manager, Perez-Cordova will oversee the Latin American Regional office from Mexico and be responsible for working with the regional business and functional leaders to ensure effective coordination and delivery of infrastructure services. He will report to Henri Petit, Director, International Regional Operations, Chairman and President Greater Asia Region and Senior Vice President, Eastman Kodak Company. Perez-Cordova, 54, joined Kodak de Mexico in 1972, in the area of Quality Control and Commercialization of products and processes. Since then, he has held management positions in film finishing, magnetic products and film manufacturing. In 1995 he was transferred to the U.S. to oversee the Sensitizing and Base Manufacturing operations at Kodak's manufacturing plant in Colorado, and he was named Worldwide Supply Chain Manager for Consumer Products at Kodak's headquarters in Rochester. In 2000, he returned to Mexico as Executive Vice President and General Manager for Film Manufacturing. From 2002 to present, Perez-Cordova has been the Guadalajara Manufacturing Site General Manager and President and General Manager of Operations for the Latin American North Region. Perez-Cordova replaces Alan Witrock, who announced in October 2003 his intention to retire from the company. Witrock joined Kodak in 1996 as the CFO for the LAR and was appointed Regional Operations Manager in 2002. "We want to thank Alan for his contributions and leadership to the company and wish him all the best in his new ventures," said Mr. Petit. This change will be effective March 1, 2004.
