QARTO Compatible With Adobe InDesign & Illustrator CS6

Thursday, April 26, 2012

Press release from the issuing company

Marketing and communications company KEXINO announces that QARTO, its cloud-based content localization and device-optimization platform, will add support for Adobe InDesign and Illustrator CS6 files from Q3 this year.

QARTO is an online content repurposing platform that saves organizations time and money on localizing and/or multipurposing print or web-based content. For multi-lingual projects, the system allows fast and easy translations of native artwork files (Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator or QuarkXPress) directly into any foreign language.

Translations can either be performed by a company’s existing suppliers, or by QARTO’s community of more than 3,500 certified localization professionals. Comprehensive project management and auditing features ensure streamlined production, reducing inefficiencies and human error. Output can either be as a native artwork file or an optimized Adobe Print-Engine PDF file. QARTO also offers the ability to convert and enrich Adobe InDesign files into mobile apps, supporting both Apple iPad and Android tablet devices.

“The Adaptive Design tools in Adobe InDesign CS6 provide content creators with powerful options to produce publications in a variety of dimensions and formats at the same time,” says Gee Ranasinha, CEO of KEXINO. “QARTO provides the same flexibility when dealing with language. Publishers, brand owners, agencies, and advertisers can unify and streamline content production, management and distribution under a language independent, device agnostic, cloud-based platform.”

QARTO can also integrate with 3rd party IT systems (DAM, brand management, web CMS, etc.) to allow language to be treated, optimized and re-purposed as any other brand asset.  Current QARTO users come from the advertising, design, corporate, and publishing industries.
