adphos Introduces NIRWEB-III at the HP drupa Booth

Press release from the issuing company

adphos Digital Printing, a global leader in drying and integration solutions, launches the new NIRWEB-III drying system to help companies increase their profits by increasing production speeds and their ability to print on a greater variety of substrates while reducing their operating costs.

The NIRWEB-III is suitable for water and solvent based inks and coatings (ie. inkjet inks and adhesives) at speeds in excess of 610 mpm (2000 fpm). With additional options including zoned and pyrometric power control, adphos NIRWEB-III systems offer the utmost in configurability and upgradeability to meet specific requirements both now and into the future.

The NIRWEB-III drying systems with onboardControl technology, incorporates the electrical components and blowers within the dryer module thus eliminating the need for external electrical cabinets and blowers. The only external component to the NIRWEB-III is a small interface box containing the power supply and the BUS-control.

The modular NIRWEB-III comes standard for 360mm (14.1"), 520mm (20.5"), 660mm (26"), 950mm (37.4") or 1,300mm (51.2") web widths and with 270mm (10.6") or 400mm (15.75") drying lengths. A variety of different emitter power-classes and custom sizes are also available to tailor the NIRWEB-III to specific functions and application. The NIRWEB-III modules can be mounted horizontally (emitter down) or + / - 90 degrees to meet even the most demanding installation requirements.

Linking several NIRWEB-III modules together in sequence will realize a compact and efficient dryer configuration, which could also be integrated into systems for high web speeds and later upgrades for increasing the drying performance.
