Tensor International Purchases Tensor Group

Press release from the issuing company

Tensor International LLC is pleased to announce its purchase last week of the assets and intellectual property of Tensor Group, Inc.

Tensor International is a newly formed business entity, owned by Automation House AB (owner of DCOS Sweden AB) and three key personnel from the former Tensor Group, Inc. organization.  Mattias Andersson of DCOS has been named CEO of Tensor International; Michael Pavone, Christopher Dalu and John Bonk now hold key management roles at the new company, capitalizing on their extensive experience and in-depth knowledge of the product lines now under the control of Tensor International.

“The synergy and combination of resources between DCOS, a premier innovator and major automation supplier in the printing industry, and Tensor International will provide extreme benefits to our customers,” stated Mattias Andersson.  “DCOS’ automation solutions are in the forefront today in any press segment and it’s one of the few companies specializing in printing press automation, while the Tensor semi-commercial, insert and newspaper press equipment is valued for incomparable durability, quality and user-friendliness. This combination of strengths makes Tensor International unique in the single-wide, single-round press market and allows us to offer a press package that provides outstanding ROI and reliability throughout the expected life cycle of the press.”

Tensor International is manufacturing all of its single width press equipment and related parts in the United States with production facilities fully operational.  The company is utilizing a worldwide network of dealers to support its sales, service and marketing efforts.
