Press release from the issuing company

Unisource Canada, Inc., Canada’s national supplier of printing and imaging, packaging and maintenance supply products, announces the appointment of Tom Deighton to the position of Vice President of the Printing Paper Strategic Business Unit.

Deighton joined Unisource Canada in 1991 and over the past 20 years has held various sales management roles in the Printing Paper, National Accounts and Facility Supply segments areas. Deighton re-located to Toronto in 2010 to work as Unisource Canada’s Director of Sales Effectiveness, after leaving his post as General Sales Manager in the Prairies.  In mid-2011, Deighton was appointed Vice-President of Sales Operations, leading a team responsible for effective customer service and merchandising.

“Tom Deighton is well known in the paper industry throughout Canada and I look forward to working with him as we implement our business strategies,” said Dan Barbagallo, President of Unisource Canada.  “He brings a wealth of experience and the leadership skills necessary to drive strong sustainable growth in the printing papers category.”
