Intec Edge 850 Launched

Press release from the issuing company

Labels are crucial to packaging and communication. Delivery boxes and cartons to tins and bottles all require them.

These days they need to be well designed on good quality stocks in order to catch the attention.

This is where the new world class digital short run Intec Edge 850 label printer comes in to its own because it prints on self-adhesive label stock, tag stock, approved films and synthetics. It can print variable data on die cut or roll substrates at lightning speeds of eight metres or 25 feet a minute (6ips) while handling stocks up to 216mm wide and 420m long.

“The biggest change in desktop label printing has arrived,” says Ian Melville, Managing Director of Intec Printing Solutions Limited. “The Intec Edge 850 is a versatile and cost effective digital solution for low to medium volume users.

“Look to the Intec Edge 850 for your beverage, food and consumer product labelling,” he concludes.

To celebrate its UK launch, demonstrations are being conducted at the Intec demonstration suite in Poole, Dorset, throughout the month of May. Remaining bookings are strictly on a first come first served basis.
