Grafibind Holland / Kirk-Rudy Solutions at drupa 2012

Press release from the issuing company

The American manufacturing company of addressing and paper handling for the direct mail, printing, newspaper and card industries Kirk-Rudy and Grafibind Holland will participate together at drupa. Grafibind represents Kirk-Rudy in Europe, Africa, the middle East and India and is outside the USA the largest distributor. At drupa in hall 13 on stand B74 we will show the latest developments and innovations. ‘And there are plenty new developments to show ’, says Patrick Citroen, managing director/owner of Grafibind Holland. ‘We will present the KR Kolorjet, a new Full Colour inkjet printing system, which is able to print with high speeds and an outstanding print quality on envelopes, A4 cut sheet and other cut sheet documents. The new KolorJet uses the latest thermal inkjet technology (TIJ4) from HP. Also the speed is impressive. A speed of 150 meters per minute is achievable at 600 dpi. This we will demonstrate live at drupa in full speed.

‘But we have more developments to present’, continues Citroen. ‘A high volume magnetic stripe encoding system, that will encode magnetic strips as well as read magnetic strips and use this information to print with a Kirk-Rudy UV inkjet system on cards.
This new technology, The KR687, is designed to integrate with other Kirk-Rudy modules like feeders, vacuum transport bases and turnover systems. Beside these two latest developments we will demonstrate more innovative Kirk-Rudy solutions on our stand.
