ISA, A Success for Mutoh America

Wednesday, April 11, 2012

Press release from the issuing company

Mutoh America, Inc., an industry leader in wide-format printers, demonstrated new products and celebrated 60 years of business at the recent ISA trade show in Orlando, Florida. Mutoh's new Smart Printing features and ValueJet 1638, 1638W and 1204GA printers stunned the crowds.

Mutoh's biggest showstopper was the new ValueJet  1638 - 64", four color, Eco-solvent printer. With a staggered dual-head design, the 1638 has print speeds that fly, printing at speeds just over 1,000 sqft/hr. The new ValueJet 1638W - 64" dye sublimation printer also demonstrated brilliant, high-quality, prints at blazing speeds.

Mutoh representatives demonstrated the new ValueJet Status Monitor (VSM) Smart Printing system that shows users the health and status of ink levels, media roll and heater settings from your iPhone or Android smart phone. VSM tells users when your printer needs attention, which allows for multi-tasking in busy working environments.

In honor of Mutoh's 60th year of business, Mutoh America, Inc. hosted the Celebrate 60 party on Friday, March 23rd. Mutoh customers and industry partners were welcome to attend the event and celebrate 60 years of success with refreshments and giveaways.

"ISA was a positive and exciting show for us this year," shares Brian Phipps, General Manager of Mutoh America. "We had a wonderful time celebrating 60 with our industry partners and customers, while being able to show off new Smart Printing features on our ValueJets. We're looking forward to continuing the celebration at the upcoming shows throughout the year."
