Color-Logic to Show New Print Security Features at drupa

Press release from the issuing company

Color-Logic—developer of the Process Metallic Color System—will show an entirely new feature of their popular software at drupa. The new feature, Security-FX, utilizes either silver ink or metallic substrate to produce security effects when printing with metallic inks.  Print security expert Richard Warner, commenting on the introduction of Color-Logic Security-FX, said: “Brand owners and consumer product goods companies have long been aware of how metallic printing can help them differentiate their products on store shelves.  But they have been reluctant to use metallic colors because of added cost and manufacturing difficulties.  Color-Logic software not only solves these issues, but it enables brand managers to add an entire new security element, thus further deterring counterfeiters.”

Commenting on the introduction at drupa, Color-Logic Director of Sales and Marketing Mark Geeves said: “Security-FX is the latest in an ever-expanding portfolio of Color-Logic decorative and security effects.  All these features—Dimensional-FX, Watermark-FX, Image-FX, Security-FX, and our full range of 250 metallic colors—create the superb metallic looks that enable brands to stand out on store shelves.”

Color-Logic develops color communication systems and software tool sets for a variety of special effect printing applications.  Color-Logic provides brand owners, product managers, corporations, and their advertising agencies the ability to differentiate themselves and their clients with a simple print production process that yields dramatic results.  Color-Logic decorative effects utilize the existing workflows of printers and designers, yielding dynamic results without the use of special equipment. Color-Logic supports the value of print and works with designers and printers to enhance their printed media.  For more information, visit www.color-logic.com or call 513-258-0047.
