Press release from the issuing company

At Düsseldorf SUMBEL Company in Bremen, Germany has manufactured gluing equipment for book-binders, the converting and graphics industries for more than 60 years! Sumbel has participated at the DRUPA exhibition since 1954.

For DRUPA 2012 the company is introducing their new simple system for case making. This system includes a Gluing Machine, Alignment Table and Edge Turner.

For large label, print, photo and poster mounting SUMBEL is showing Gluing Machine Model HEROLD with glue roller sizes up to 1200 mm (48”) and model REGENT Rotary Pressing Down Machine.

Various types of Edge Gluers for adhesive application onto the edges of various materials will be demonstrated at the SUMBEL booth.

For Hot Melt Adhesive Application SUMBEL is introducing their new Hot Melt Roller Coater, Model MELTCATOR with roller sizes of 300 mm or 500 mm.

SUMBEL is offering for all of the above mentioned applications and systems suitable adhesives and glues produced especially for use in SUMBEL machines. Sumbel's research and development team is constantly exploring new technologies to create more effective and more environmentally-friendly glues and adhesives for specific applications. The range of products includes a line of water-based adhesives and glues, acid free glues, and hot melt/pressure sensitive adhesives.

SUMBEL’s pressure sensitive adhesive dots of glue known as Glue Dots® or Glue Spots provide a fast, easy, and clean method for bonding just about any two substrates. SUMBEL offers these dots in three tack strengths — low, high and super high — for temporary as well as permanent bonding. For the automatic application of Glue Dots SUMBEL is showing at DRUPA the new SD-900 as the smart choice for automatic, inline adhesive application.  Designed to quickly, cleanly and easily apply Glue Dots Brand Adhesives, the SD-900 seamlessly integrates into your existing production line.

Craquelure Coating is a water based acrylic coating that is applied onto photographs, lithographic prints, posters and canvas art décor.  The coating provides protection – eliminating the need for glass - and the enhanced look of a hand painted artwork.  It is applied with a brush or paint roller in seconds and is available in matte and hi gloss finishes.

Customers who are not able to visit the DRUPA 2012 in Düsseldorf can see SUMBEL machines and products on INTERNET on their homepage www.sumbel.com, on Facebook or You Tube.
