Pageflex Helps European Printers Grow Their Business

Press release from the issuing company

Pageflex is an international supplier of marketing and printing automation solutions since 1996 and has headquarters in Marlborough (USA) and Caesarea (Israel). Following its recent strategic initiatives to expand its presence in Europe, Pageflex is now addressing the increased demand for its products with the opening of a new office in Warsaw, Poland.

The move will support plans to build on its rapidly growing customer base and enhance its relationship with European resellers including ROI360 Software Distribution in the UK,Konzept-iX in Germany, and VBS in the Nordics. ROI distributes Pageflex Storefront, Pageflex Server, Pageflex Campaign Manager and Pageflex iWay and after recently entering into a Master Reseller Agreement, it added Pageflex iWay. Konzept-iX, which has represented Pageflex since 2000 has also been given Master Reseller Status and added Pageflex iWay to its portfolio of solutions. In addition, reseller VBS has successfully distributed iWay technology since 2001 and will now be representing the entire Pageflex product line in the Nordic Region, including Sweden, Norway, Finland and Denmark.

Commitment to local markets

Printers everywhere are embracing web-to-print solutions. They provide a way to streamline their production processes, help them make the transition from printer to marketing service provider and thus foster deeper business relationships with their customers.

Pageflex's move to Poland comes at time of strong growth in the Polish print market.Research conducted by KPMG estimates that the printing industry will grow from PLN 9.9 billion in 2010 to PLN 12 billion in 2013. Most companies in this sector are predicting sales volume growth and are planning to modernize through technology before the end of 2013.  That technology is expected to be web-to-print.  Research firm InfoTrends' reports that the majority of printers in Poland  - 68% - do not currently own web to-print software, but that the majority are currently considering the purchase of a web-to-print solution.

"We see tremendous opportunity for Pageflex in Eastern Europe," says Pinhas Romik, Pageflex CEO. "Our technology has a proven history of helping printers open up new lines of business and gain efficiencies, and we can help printers achieve the same results. Our history, our technology, and now our local presence will impact how printing is done throughout the region."

The Pageflex office in Poland will be run by Ms. Agnieszka Poczekay, the newly-appointed Sales Manager, Eastern Europe. Ms. Poczekaj is Polish and has a background managing sales and marketing in the print industry. A former Territory Account Manager for Kodak, Ms. Poczekaj, will be responsible for growing sales of all Pageflex products in the region, including OEM and channel partner sales.

"Europe has a dynamic printing industry, one that is constantly changing and adjusting to new economic and business opportunities," says Ms. Poczekaj. "Pageflex, and its range of products, meets the needs of this market perfectly. It gives printers the technology they need to set up e-commerce websites and to offer new, marketing-related services to their clients. With this combination printers can realize new lines of revenue to expand their business.” She added: “Our commitment to the market enables Pageflex to capitalize on the opportunities available by giving our resellers and partners the support they need to better represent Pageflex in their regions."

The opening of the office in Poland is part of Pageflex' ongoing focus on the adoption of its products in Europe. Earlier this year, it announced the appointment of a new sales and marketing team with this goal in mind. Apart from Poland, the company has another regional office in The Netherlands.

Later this year Pageflex will be exhibiting at drupa in Dusseldorf, Germany, Hall 4, Stand 4A02, with its team of European resellers. It will showcase leading edge web-to-print and marketing automation solutions and highlights will include new features designed to meet the needs of an international marketplace.
