Kodak's Web-to-Print Global Reseller Agreement with Online Print Solutions

Press release from the issuing company

Kodak has expanded a reseller agreement with Online Print Solutions (OPS) from covering customers in North America to a global relationship, further enhancing the commitment to drive a high level of additional value to customers through advanced web-to-print tools. Kodak has been an authorized reseller of the full range of OPS web-to-print and cross-media marketing solutions in North America since early 2011. The growth and success of this relationship is resulting in a global expansion to Europe and Asia during the first quarter of 2012.

Kodak is committed to adding professional services and third-party products that complement Kodak’s portfolio, delivering personalized solutions that fit each customer’s unique requirements.

“The success of the Kodak and OPS relationship in North America really dictated the need for a worldwide offering,” said Mark McGowan, CEO, Online Print Solutions. “The combination of Kodak’s exceptional professional services team and commitment to supporting its customers with Online Print Solutions’ market-leading web-to-print and cross-media technology has proven to deliver a unique value proposition to the print industry. We’re pleased with the development and expansion of this relationship to the rest of the world, and look forward to working closely with Kodak to deliver even tighter integration into Kodak’s workflow products.”

The OPS portfolio appeals to both print service and market service providers because it uses a central platform for companies to manage corporate, marketing and retail activities. OPS’s core product, OrderDesk, provides a web storefront solution that can be easily deployed for fulfillment, job submission, online design and on-demand printing. The company’s VWeb and VPrint products also allow users to create, manage and track variable data and cross-media campaigns with elements of print, email, SMS messaging, and personalized URLs (PURLs). The inclusion of these highly adaptable OPS products adds significant value to the KODAK Web-to-Print Solutions portfolio by offering end customers numerous user-friendly software options to meet their individual business and market needs.

“The worldwide expansion of the Kodak and OPS agreement is a response to growing customer demand,” says Jon Bracken, Kodak’s General Manager of Unified Workflow Solutions. “Our customers are looking for a range of capability in their online presence, and OPS, tightly integrated with Kodak’s own software solutions, meet those needs. Whether they are building an online storefront for consumer-facing printing, or addressing a particular requirement for an enterprise-level customer, the Kodak portfolio combined with OPS gives us the breadth and flexibility to create tailored customer solutions.”
